My JOURNEY to mental performance!

I've always been fascinated by human behavior and psychology. My basketball career led me to pursue my studies in psychology, starting at Upper Iowa University, in 2014, and finishing at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2019 - UQAM

After my bachelor's degree, I continued my education with a master's in sport and exercise psychology at Nottingham Trent University in the UK. This gave me the opportunity to conduct research on the motivation and psychological well-being of student-athletes by examining how they align their academic and athletic goals to optimize their performance.

A year of reflection

During the pandemic, I took a lot of time to reflect on my professional career. In 2021, I became a mental performance consultant under the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA) and recently joined the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) as a CMPC.

Since 2021, I have had the privilege of working with over a thousand athletes from various sports, contexts, and situations!

Let's find a way to improve by 1% each day together!

AS AN ATHLETE

Close to two decades of
d'expérience

At the age of 9, I started playing basketball. Early on, I knew I wanted to play at the highest level and compete for as long as possible. After my successes in high school, I had the opportunity to play at John Abbott College for one year before joining the Spire Institute Academy in Ohio, USA.

University, an NCAA DII school in the USA. After 18 months of adversity and challenges, I made one of the best decisions of my career and returned to Canada.

From Canada to united kingdom

I completed my last three and a half years of eligibility at UQAM in Division I in Canada. Some of the best moments and lessons of my life happened here at home. In April 2019, I took the leap to finish my studies in the UK while also touching the professional level. In August 2020, I left Canada for my first professional contract in the UK, before COVID-19 suspended our season. Like all athletes around the world, I had a defining choice to make for the future of my career...

Even though my career didn't end as I would have liked, I have no regrets knowing that I gave it my all. Late nights, early mornings, and all the necessary sacrifices. Basketball has brought me many wonderful experiences and incredible memories all around the world. I am forever grateful to this game.
